Le Parisien revealed that Neymar is unpopular with his neighbors because the parties he holds at his home ruin the peaceful atmosphere of the area. Since arriving at PSG in 2017, Neymar has mainly lived in a 5-story villa in Bougival, a suburban town in the Yvelynes area, 15 km from central Paris.

Even though he lives in the suburbs, Neymar’s parties still annoy his neighbors. Last week, the Brazilian star held a 31st birthday party and played music so loud that the neighbors couldn’t stand it. Giving suggestions but not learning from experience, the poor neighbor had to report to the police.

However, after the police left, Neymar’s party continued to make loud noises. Some locals said the noise of Neymar’s birthday party lasted until 12 midnight and made it impossible for them to enjoy their time.

Mayor of Bougival, Luc Wattelle, who lives near Neymar’s house, assessed the striker born in 1992 as “a person who lacks respect” towards his neighbors.

Furthermore, Wattelle also revealed that after PSG won Ligue 1 last season, Neymar also held a party that didn’t end until 5 a.m. the next morning. Administrative sanctions are almost ineffective against the former Barca star because his salary at PSG is too high.

“We can fine him, but what can we do with someone who doesn’t care about a fine of 135 euros, it’s nothing compared to his salary,” the leader of the local government conclusion method. As Mr. Wattelle said, Neymar can be sued in court.
