The Portuguese superstar was completing his warm-up ahead of Al-Nassr’s clash with Al-Taawoun when he was forced to run away from a fan. The video shows that the intruder rushed into the position where Ronaldo was standing.

Luckily, Ronaldo spotted an oncoming fan and the 37-year-old was able to take evasive action.

The fan was carried away by security staff, with the help of Luiz Gustavo, as they pinned them down and carried him away from Ronaldo.

A fan asked: “Did he intentionally hurt Cristiano Ronaldo..!?”

“Ronaldo needs to be really careful with these crazy fans,” another added. While a third tweeted: “Wtf sorry for the fans, Ronaldo could have been injured!”.

And a fourth added: “Didn’t this happen to Adrian at the Super Cup or was it one of his teammates?”.

Al Nassr won 2-1 on Friday night, but Ronaldo – who played the full 90 minutes – was not on the scoresheet.

However, Ronaldo had 2 assists. One was for Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the 17th minute to open the scoring and then for Madu to set the score 2-1.
