Carmelo Anthony just released a new book called “Where the Future is Uncertain”. As usual, the star who recently moved to the Los Angeles Lakers will hold book signings to promote his new publication. And in such a cozy event, the former New York Knicks player was asked extremely funny and adorable questions by young fans.

In the middle of the autograph session, a boy wearing LeBron James’ No. 23 Lakers jersey mustered up the courage to walk towards the star born in 1984. The boy asked if Carmelo Anthony and his idol were the same. are friends or not. Perhaps after many years of fighting and confronting each other with many colors of clothing between the two sides, this handsome blond boy did not believe that the two sides were friends after all those times of confrontation until their skin broke out.
The boy’s question received an interesting smile from Carmelo Anthony. This made him unable to forget until he got home and had to post a video recording of this scene on his personal Twitter page to ask his friend LeBron James the opposite question. Just a moment later, LeBron James replied humorously, “Maybe we play together.”
The friendship between Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James is extremely special. What’s special is that it was built from healthy competition between the two top stars of world basketball. Because they are the same age, they have had the opportunity to confront each other since their school days. This historic match is nothing more than a confrontation between two St. Vincent-St. LeBron James’s Mary meets Oak Hill Academy under the guidance of Carmelo Anthony. Carmelo Anthony later recalled that he spent the night in a hotel in New Jersey preparing for the match between St. Vincent-St. Mary and Oak Hill Academy was the starting point for it all. Everything simply came from LeBron James’s question as they both walked to the hotel steps.
“Both of our teams arrived at the hotel for a while when suddenly he walked up and asked, “Hey, are you Melo?”. And just like that, LeBron and I talked for several hours on the steps of that hotel. From that moment we knew how compatible we were. Both are children raised by single mothers, growing up in poverty in the slums. It seemed like we both met at the right time because we were both looking for such a brother,” Carmelo Anthony recounted to Sportscasting.
After more than 20 years of fighting on opposite fronts, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James are now preparing to enter their 19th NBA season as teammates for the first time. Let’s wait and see if this combination of them can bring the Larry O’Brien golden trophy to the Los Angeles Lakers?
