Messi and the soccer stars have branched out into acting

David Beckham, Lionel Messi or Neymar are among the world’s top football stars who have been invited to act in movies.

Lionel Messi made a surprise cameo appearance in season two of Argentina’s hit TV series Los Protectore . The film tells the story of the journey of three football representatives who work together to save their careers. Messi appeared in the first episode of season two and received an offer to cooperate in a non-profit project to support young players.

In 2017, David Beckham appeared in the movie King Arthur: Legend of the Sword . However, the co-owner of Inter Miami Club was criticized by experts for his stiff acting. Before that, the former MU star also appeared in a cameo role in the movie The Man from UNCLE (2015) directed by Guy Ritchie.

In addition to the above works, Beckham also appeared for a few seconds alongside Zinedine Zidane , Raul Gonzalez , Alan Shearer and Patrick Kluivert in the movie Goal . Afterwards, Zidane admitted he had no interest in cinema.

The Brazilian striker admitted that he is a “hard fan” of the movie title and has always cherished the ambition to participate in this project. The PSG star plays a monk and appears in episodes 6 and 8 of the third season.

Not directly participating in acting, Olivier Giroud chose to voice the character Green Goblin in the French version of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in 2018. Chelsea, Giroud’s home team at that time , also helps promote this striker’s activities.
