Beloved pets express displeasure during vet visits, eliciting varied responses from owners.

Animals get anxious at the vet.

Which is pretty normal if you think about it. I mean even humans don’t like to go to the doctor so is it really that surprising that animals would feel anxious as well? Especially since we can’t really explain that we are doing this for them and there is nothing to be afraid of. I am sure you have seen kids crying even if we explain properly what is happening so I sort of feel sorry for animals. We basically haul them to a vet in a cage and then poke them with needles.

If you look at it from their point of view, all of it makes sense. That is why so many people like to commemorate the first time their pet goes to the vet. Because it is usually quite hilarious even if you want to soothe your pet. I mean they will try to hide in whatever place they can. The age-old statement of ‘If I can’t see you, you can’t see me’ applies here as every animal apparently thinks if they stop moving, they are going to blend in. It is not only adorable but very funny.

#10 This kitty has the right idea.

This is Teo. He ran away 40 minutes before the vet visit and came back 15 minutes after I decided to not go there. We tried to make him come to us with treats and toys, but he was just looking at us from my neighbor’s backyard. I’m sure he would’ve shown us some obscene gestures if he could. He also loves boxes.

#12 Apparently, the vet didn’t have the right-sized cone.

Honestly, I can totally relate to these animals as my cat does something very similar whenever I bring him to the vet. He usually tries his best to cling to me whenever we are in the car and will claw his nails right into my skin or clothes just so I don’t try to get him off me. Not only that but sometimes he does try to hide his face under my arm because he doesn’t like looking outside the window. Some animals are just that afraid of the outside world.
