Two Outdoor Kittens Embark on a Joyful New Journey to Cozy Laps, Seamless and Full of Playful Adventures!

Two outside kittens began a joyous new journey into cozy laps, without missing a beat.

""Two"

Earlier this month, the Toronto Humane Society received two furry kittens that had been found outside.

They were in good shape and had probably been breastfeeding. “The person who took them thought they had been left behind,” Tania, a foster volunteer at the shelter, told Love Meow.

The feline siblings, Chunk and Khonk, were immediately taken into foster care and quickly treated for their stomach problems.

When healthy, unweaned kittens are found outside, their mother cat may be in the process of moving them. It is best to wait and monitor until “you are sure the mother cat will not return” before intervening with the kittens.

“It turns out that these babies have intestinal worms and medication treatment has been started including a warm bath to make sure the larvae are eliminated.”

“Chunk and Khonk are very helpful and patient during this routine. “They are really kind little sweethearts.”

The two brothers quickly settled into their new space. Khonk, the bigger and braver of the duo, eagerly sought attention. “He will greet me like a puppy by turning around and showing me his belly and then climbing into my arms out of love.”

""snuggled up"

His brother Chunk was much smaller (at the time), but not dwarfed by Khonk’s size and fluff. She had a meow so sweet it could melt even the coldest heart.

They are both the embodiment of the phrase “live fast, sleep long.”

Chunk was a wrestler and loved “to tackle his much older brother and make him cry.” He joined Khonk on Tania’s lap and never missed the activity.

“He’s sweet and has soft silver-gray fur with a cute purple nose.”

""nice"

Khonk enjoyed his food so much that he licked his lips after each meal, savoring the leftovers. He then rolled over in his foster mother’s arms or hands, exposing his fluffy belly before falling asleep in the middle of a petting session.

Although he was small, Chunk devoured his food with equal fervor, determined to reach his size.

""sweet"

When they’re not wandering around or fighting each other, they’re lying next to their trusty engorged cow, moving their little paws as they wander around in their dreams.

They recharge with naps and snacks before bursting with renewed energy for another round of play.

They tackle new toys with boundless enthusiasm, only to fall asleep moments later. Khonk often finds himself failing mid-game.

“As stocky as Khonk is, he flattens out like a pancake when he lies on his stomach.”

""kittens"

In just a couple of weeks, Chunk has surpassed his brother in weight, claiming the title of king of the castle.

“Their personalities are sweet and polite. They know not to use their claws on me or bite me. They sometimes like to be fed with a small silver spoon. This method always works with kittens when they have “I didn’t touch their food.”

The feline siblings have entered the rambunctious kitten phase, pacing around frantically until their playful antics turn into a cozy nap.

Chunk and Khonk are living their best lives, surrounded by affection and cozy laps. Their stomachs are full and their future is bright.
