A cat from Chiang Mai, Thailand named Able had an unfortunate accident that resulted in the loss of his front paws and tail due to an electric shock from exposed wires. However, despite this setback, Able continues to live life as a normal cat by getting around on his hind legs – reminiscent of a T-Rex! Despite his traumatic experience, Able was able to recover and is now a strong and resilient feline.

At just a year old, Able experienced a terrifying incident when a loud noise, mistaken for a bomb, startled the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the sound resulted in hundreds of volts of electricity surging through Able’s body, causing severe damage to his tail and front paws, rendering him immobile. Fortunately, the compassionate resident Walai Sriboonvorakul discovered Able stranded in an alley seven days after the accident and nursed him back to health. Now three years old, Able has made a remarkable recovery despite his past injuries. He has even acquired impressive skills, such as navigating flights of stairs, chasing other cats, and leaping up walls with a kangaroo-like bounce.

He now walks in a manner akin to a T-Rex dinosaur, adopting a gait reminiscent of the intimidating beast’s movements. His shortened arms further evoke the image of the dino’s shrunken limbs.

Despite having to adopt a walking style resembling a T-Rex and hopping like a kangaroo, this three-year-old feline remains a beautiful and capable animal. The name “Able” signifies his ability to perform activities just like any other animal. Unfortunately, Able’s condition resulted from electrocution caused by exposed wires, leading to the loss of his legs and tail due to the powerful electricity. Initially facing challenges with his wounds, he swiftly adapted to his new way of life. Able learned to stand and balance on his hind legs, showcasing remarkable strength. He can climb stairs, engage in chase games with other cats by bouncing like a mini kangaroo, and even leap high onto walls and ledges.

Welcomed into their home, the family showered Able with love and nourishment. Initially allowed to freely explore the garden and surroundings, Able faced challenges when encountering other stray dogs and cats, prompting the family to keep him inside their two-story home. Each morning, Able’s favorite activity is running up to his “big brother” Copter’s bedroom to wake him up. Copter considers Able a cherished member of the family, and they engage in various games together. Despite the loss of his legs, Able has found a loving home where he is pampered and enjoys a good life.

Despite facing initial difficulties, the courageous feline, Able, has adapted swiftly. He can not only move around by hopping but also possesses the ability to leap over tall barriers.

Able has become a cherished member of the Sriboonvorakul household, residing comfortably within their spacious two-story home.
