While Kyrie Irving has yet to confirm whether or not he has a wife, the NBA basketball star has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Marlene Wilkerson. However, a few years ago, the couple sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted sporting a diamond rock on her ring finger.

Since welcoming a child together, Kyrie Irving and Marlene Wilkerson were rumored to be engaged, and she later stepped out with a large ring on her finger. However, as the surrounding paparazzi congratulated the couple, they did not confirm nor deny the news.

Before his relationship with his girlfriend, Kyrie Irving was in a public romance with Kehlani, which ended in her facing a cheating scandal. The NBA star was also rumored to be dating one of Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriends.

Wilkerson is a model, blogger, and influencer who has amassed over 770,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel at the time of writing. In 2021, she took to the platform to document the birth of her and Irving’s first child.

On June 15, 2021, Wilkerson shared an 11-minute video that captured the moments leading up to and including the home birth of their newborn, including a sentimental clip of the NBA star assuring his girlfriend he had her as their child’s cries filled the room. A message at the end of the video reads:

“A dedication to indigenous women to reclaim their bodies and heal our lineage through [sacred] natural birth. May you find your way to that inner knowing. May we educate, empower and assist each other through the sacred journey of becoming and being a Mother.”

Less than a month after welcoming their first child, Wilkerson took to Instagram to share a photo of her still pregnant while she and Irving gripped her baby bump as they posed for the camera.

In August 2021, she posted a snap of the couple holding hands, followed by a picture of a page from the book, “Spirit Babies.” Fourteen months after giving birth, Wilkerson turned to Instagram to celebrate Irving with a throwback picture of them during their maternity shoot.

“The most gentle father and best friend. We celebrate your presence and impact daily,” she captioned the post in part. Irving also shared glimpses of his relationship on social media. In August 2021, he shared a picture of him and Wilkerson in each other’s embrace, followed by a series of photos of them being affectionate.

In 2015, Irving filed court documents claiming he was expecting a child with 2010 Miss Texas United States Andrea Wilson and requested a paternity test to confirm his claims. His attorney said:

“In filing this petition, Kyrie is doing the right thing, taking responsibility and actively seeking to establish his rights so that he can be involved the day he becomes a father from the outset.”

However, Wilson later alleged that Irving’s antics were for the press and that they had no “connection” with each other during her pregnancy. “Kyrie has had no participation. He is only seeking custody to look good for the press,” Wilson said.

Despite Wilson’s claims, Irving took to Instagram to celebrate the day their daughter, Azurie Elizabeth Irving, was born and shared that he had named his daughter after his late mother.

In 2019, Irving and Wilkerson sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted with a diamond ring on her finger days after the Nets player was rumored to have popped the question. Before their relationship, he was in a relationship with singer and songwriter Kehlani.

However, she was accused of cheating on the basketball player with her ex. Irving later addressed the cheating allegations with a series of tweets followed by a lengthy Instagram post that read:

“[…] She did not cheat or intentionally hurt me, she actually did something extremely noble & respectful, but the fact that it’s still a lingering narrative is really outdated at this point […].

Following his 2016 breakup from Kehlani, Kyrie Irving was in a rumored relationship with Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Chantel Jeffries. The pair were spotted on dates in California and New York and were seen holding hands.
