Last weekend, the US men’s beach volleyball team announced its roster for the Paris Olympics. Notably, there is the appearance of Chase Budinger. He was an NBA player from 2009 to 2016 in the colors of 4 different clubs such as Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns. After leaving the NBA, this striker also had a season playing for Baskonia in Spain before saying goodbye to basketball.

The next step in Chase Budinger’s career is beach volleyball. Actually, this is a return to his childhood passion, when Chase used to play volleyball and was one of the young talents in the state of California. Possessing impressive resilience when participating in dunk contests in the NBA, along with great physical strength and experience in top competition, Chase Budinger did not take long to assert himself in beach volleyball.

The mission of Chase Budinger and his teammates at the Paris Olympics will be to help American men’s beach volleyball win the first Olympic gold medal since 2000.
