Ronaldo, 38, has never been shy about showing off his appearance and has built an army of more than 600 million followers on Instagram.

The Portuguese star has a huge fan base… but in a study conducted by Badge Clinic, he was only ranked as the second sexiest footballer.

Badge Clinic came up with their findings by analyzing the popular image sharing platform Pinterest.

By determining the number of pins each player received, they came up with their top 10.

Ronaldo was found to have 364,476 pins – putting him in second place on the list.

But his numbers are far behind his former Real Madrid teammate, Marco Asensio.

The winger, currently at Paris Saint-Germain, appears to be a Pinterest phenomenon.

Asensio, 27, has 903,364 pins – 500,000 more than Ronaldo.

The Spanish player also has more than 15 million followers on Instagram.

Brazilian star Neymar is third on the list with 275,274 pins – having just moved to the Saudi Pro League.

While Manchester United’s rookie Mason Mount ranked fourth with 225,224.

Ronaldo’s old rival Lionel Messi is considered by many to be number 1 in the GOAT race – but is only fifth here with 220,701 pins.

Jude Bellingham is the second highest ranked British star, behind Mount, the Real Madrid star with 144,895 pins.

French star Kylian Mbappé is next with 136,155 in 7th place.

While Korean superstar and Tottenham captain Son Heung-min, ambassador for Calvin Klein, came eighth with 125,630.

Antoine Griezman is the second French player in the top 10 after Mbappe, following Son with 124,967 pins.

Atletico Madrid star striker Joao Felix entered the top 10 with 102,830 pins.
