Stephen Curry can be said to be one of the most prominent names in the NBA. The assassin with extraordinary three-point shooting ability now truly sits firmly on the throne of the greatest shooter of all time. However, it wasn’t until recently that fans learned about another “special talent” of this superstar wearing shirt number 30, which is nothing other than rap.
For most of us, student life is the most fun and wonderful time. Before Stephen Curry became a star in the NBA, he was also a skinny, mischievous student like everyone else. Surely an important part of everyone’s college life is friends. And Curry’s friends got together and came up with the idea of making an extremely funny and cute “homemade rap” MV in the summer of 2009.
But the first release itself on the Youtube channel called “TheDavidsonShow” did not create a buzz. This MV did not become an immediate “hit” but was just an internally circulated video with the purpose of bringing laughter to students studying at Davidson school. But everything changed when ESPN’s Sports Center program dug up this valuable gold mine and posted it on its Instagram page.

In just one day, the number of views of the original MV increased rapidly and is currently reaching more than 1.2 million views. A terrible number compared to a music MV made entirely for the purpose of bringing laughter. From the idea to the acting to the rap lyrics, the song “I Love Commons” is truly a joyful moment of close friends in their carefree days.
This rap song was created to satirize the lack of quality canteens with delicious food at Davidson University campus at that time. “The Commons” is a restaurant that is highly rated by all students as well as Stephen Curry and his friends. However that is all they have.

Stephen Curry’s voice contribution is really funny. Not to mention the quality or the way he rhymes, just listening to what Curry raps makes his fans “get goosebumps” about the idol’s youth.
In his part, the future NBA superstar warned boys about the fact that many girls only see boys as tools, so if you don’t want to be ridiculed by your friends, stay away.
Needless to say, social media really exploded because of this retro performance from Stephen Curry.
